The We Are Here: Stop The Violence March is scheduled to take place on Saturday, July 12, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The event is sponsored by Next Level Academies.
Organizers have announced that no streets will be closed for the march. Participants are advised to use sidewalks and crosswalks while crossing intersections.
Drivers in the area should remain cautious and mindful of those participating in the march along the designated route.
The march will begin at City Hall, located at 419 Fulton St., with participants proceeding east on the sidewalks along Fulton Street. They will then walk southwest on S.W. Jefferson Avenue's sidewalks. From there, they will head west on W. Antoinette Street before moving south on S. Matthew Street, concluding at 1015 S. Matthew St., where a resource fair will follow the march.
