School supply drive hosted by Rep. Weaver and Sen. Anderson in Pekin

A school supply drive will be held on August 5 in Pekin, organized by Illinois State Representative Travis Weaver and Senator Anderson. The event aims to collect essential supplies for teachers and students in the area. Donations can be dropped off at the Pekin District Office located at 337 Court St., between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

All collected supplies will be distributed to local schools. Representative Weaver will be available from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to discuss legislative issues or answer questions from attendees.

"Thank you in advance for helping out our area students and teachers," stated Rep. Weaver.
