Families in Kewanee are invited to attend the second annual Children’s Safety Expo this Saturday at the Blackhawk College Educational Center. The event will run from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and is free for all attendees.
The expo will feature over 30 local organizations providing resources, safety demonstrations, and activities aimed at promoting children’s safety. Attendees can also enjoy free refreshments and giveaways during the event.
Weaver, a Republican, was elected to the Illinois State House in 2023 to represent the state's 93rd House District, replacing previous state representative Norine Hammond.
