Woodford County taxpayers paid the 25th largest sum in sales taxes in June, according to Illinois tax records.

In total, residents paid $914,086 in sales taxes during June.

The county ranked 26th in the Prairie State the month before, with $854,302 spent in sales taxes.

The largest share of sales taxes paid by Woodford County residents in June came from the Special County Retailers Occupation Tax.
