A commemorative event will take place to mark the 150th anniversary of Jacksonville Memorial Hospital. The event is scheduled for Saturday, November 8, from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at Hamilton’s, located at 110 North East in Jacksonville.
Trevor Huffman, president and CEO of Jacksonville Memorial Hospital, stated, “This has been a great year full of fun activities to celebrate a milestone anniversary in the life of our community. As we look back on 150 years of quality health care through the establishment of a local hospital here in Jacksonville, we have much to be grateful for and many people to thank.”
The event will include dinner and a musical program, with performances featuring skits from previous JMH Auxiliary fundraising shows known as “The Follies.” Participants in the show will include current and former hospital employees, physicians, and other past cast members.
