Sidewalk construction is ongoing at several intersection corners along Jefferson Avenue as part of the Adams Street and Jefferson Avenue One-Way to Two-Way Conversion Project.

Current work is taking place at the northwest and northeast corners of Fulton Street and S.W. Jefferson Avenue, as well as the northeast corner of Hamilton Boulevard and N.E. Jefferson Avenue near 200 N.E. Jefferson Avenue.

Both northbound and southbound lanes of Fulton Street remain closed, but access to the Twin Towers Parking Deck and City Hall’s parking lot continues via S.W. Monroe Street. On-street parking restrictions are clearly marked; drivers are advised to use only available meters that are not bagged with “No Parking” signs.

The city notes that additional parking, lane, and sidewalk restrictions will be announced as the project moves forward. Drivers are urged to watch for workers in the area, observe posted no-parking zones, and exercise extra caution while traveling through these intersections.
