Village of Norwood Board of Trustees met March 13.

Meeting called – William Roberson - President, 7:00 pm.
Pledge recited.
Attorney Josh Herman was present for this meeting.
Roll Call: William Roberson, Russ Trantina, Brent Modglin, Kelly Rendleman and Mary Melaga. Kenny Pierce was absent. Quorum was met.
Guests: Spring McBride and Lori Berger
Audience Concerns: None to present.
Take Action and/or Discussion With Respect to:
•Lease Agreement Proposal with Limestone Fire Protection District. Motion to approve - Mary Melaga, second - Brent Modglin. All verbally approved with 5 yeas.
•Ordinance Amending Title 7, Chapter 3 of the Village Code of the Village of Norwood for Purpose of Regulating the Keeping of Animals (Keeping of Chickens in the Village) - Aproval. Motion to approve - Russ Trantina, second - Mary Melaga. With a roll call vote, motion passed with 4 yeas and 1 nay.
•Garage Sale Date. The date was tentatively set for Saturday, June 3, 2017. Confirmation will be held at the next board meeting.
Concerning the road/easement project on Lamoine Ave., Mr. Roberson stated that the County no longer helps with these kinds of projects. Therefore, he is trying to get company bids for this project. There are six culverts affected near the area of 6730 W. Lamoine Ave.
Minutes of February 7, 2017. Motion to approve - Mary Melaga, second - Kelly Rendleman. All verbally approved with 5 yeas.
Bills Approved: Motion to approve - Mary Melaga , second - Kelly Rendleman. With a roll call vote, all to be Paid verbally approved with 5 yeas.
Ratification of Bills Paid: Motion to approve - Mary Melaga, second - Brent Modglin. With a roll call vote, all verbally approved with 5 yeas.
With nothing further to discuss, a motion was made to adjourn this meeting - Russ Trantina, second - Mary Melaga. All verbally approved with 5 yeas.
