Village of Bellevue Village Board met October 24.

The Village Council of the Village of Bellevue, Peoria County, Illinois, met in Regular Session October 24th,

2017. Chairman Johnson called the meeting to order at 6:00 P.M.

Chairman Johnson directed Clerk Wilson to call Roll.

Present:                  Chairman Terry Johnson

Trustees:                 Aaron Lannert, Leroy Wiseman, Martin Schuettler, Francis Heskett

Also Present:          Village Attorney, Lane Alster

                                Superintendent, Steve Wilson

                                Peoria County Lieutenant, James Middlemas

Absent:                     Chad Murphy, Dean Merriman

Chairman Johnson declared a Quorum present.

The Minutes of the Regular Council Meeting held on October 10th, 2017 were presented. Motion Trustee

Wiseman, second Trustee Lannert, that the Council approve Minutes as presented.

Motion carried via voce vote.

Motion Trustee Schuettler, second Trustee Lannert, that bills as presented be paid and the payrolls and

transfers be approved.

Roll Call Vote was:

Ayes: Lannert, Schuettler, Wiseman, Heskett

Nays: None

Chairman Johnson declared motion carried.

Motion Trustee Lannert, second Trustee Schuettler, to approve Ordinance 748, providing annexation of certain

territory to the Village of Bellevue. 4912 W. Farmington Rd., 4922 W. Farmington Rd.

Roll Call Vote was:

Ayes: Lannert, Schuettler, Wiseman, Heskett

Nays: None

Chairman Johnson declared motion carried.

Motion Trustee Lannert, second Trustee Wiseman, to approve Ordinance 749, authorizing the execution of an

annexation agreement. 4912 W. Farmington Rd., 4922 W. Farmington Rd.

Ayes: Lannert, Schuettler, Wiseman, Heskett

Nays: None

Chairman Johnson declared motion carried.

Motion Trustee Wiseman, second Trustee Lannert, to approve Ordinance 750, to amend the zoning map of the

Village of Bellevue, Illinois.

Ayes: Lannert, Schuettler, Wiseman, Heskett

Nays: None

Chairman Johnson declared motion carried.

Village Discussion

Speaker- Peoria County Lieutenant, Middlemas- Addressed the board on new changes with our police

officer, on duty. Interviewing candidates for the job of Police Officer, for our town. Should have new Officer,

on duty, within two weeks. Lieutenant, Middlemas, has a strong background working with municipalities.

Lieutenant, Middlemas, is hoping to build a good communitive, helpful relationship, with all residents of

Bellevue.

Motioned Trustee Lannert, second Trustee Schuettler, to close the meeting.

Nays: None

Chairman Johnson announced, that there being no further business the Council meeting adjourned at 7:34 p.m.
