Proceeds from a major fundraiser held in early December will go a long way to help fund programs and services at OSF HealthCare Children’s Hospital of Illinois in Peoria.

The two-day annual Radiothon, hosted this year by John Riley from 93.3 The Drive, raised $182,497 for the hospital, a posting on the Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce website said.

According to the posting, the hospital is the third largest pediatric hospital in the state.

In the past 16 years, the fundraiser has raised more than $3.8 million for the hospital, the posting said.
