71 percent of applicants to Bradley University were admitted for fall 2017

At Bradley University, 97 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 51 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Peoria enrolled 5,844 students in fall 2017, including 4,649 in undergraduate and 1,195 in graduate programs, data shows. 5.3 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

77 percent of undergraduates are residents of Illinois, and 22 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (73 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (10 percent).

The school admitted 71 percent of the 10,232 students who applied for fall 2017. Of those who were admitted, 17 percent enrolled.
