Village of Hanna City issued the following announcement on Aug. 21.
The Hanna City Hustle 5K Color Run/ walk will be held on Saturday, August 25th at 9:00 a.m. during the Heritage Days Celebration. The course will be on Village streets on the north side of Rt. 116. For the safety of race participants, sections of the following streets will be closed from 9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.: Main, Logan, Runkle, Peoria, Chicago, Phil Gould, Lakeshore, Lakeview, Carole, and Murphy.
The Heritage Days parade will be held from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm. IL Rt 116 will be closed from Murphy Rd. to Main St. Sections of the following Village streets will also be closed during this time: Main, Runkle, Logan, Peoria, and Chicago Streets.
