City of Newman issued the following announcement on Aug. 27.
The City of Newman is accepting applications for one (1) full-time Community Services Officer position to perform a variety of code enforcement activities, administer support services and programs for the City’s Planning and Administration Departments; provide staff support on a wide variety of code enforcement programs and services; respond to public requests and inquiries; enforce and ensure compliance with a variety of Federal, State, and local laws, codes, and regulations; write warnings and citations as necessary and perform related work as required.
This full-time position includes a generous benefit package with paid vacation, sick-leave, CalPERS retirement, Medical, Dental and Vision coverage. Applicants must be 21 years of age, have strong communication skills and be able to successfully complete a pre-employment medical examination, drug screening and background investigation.
