S.W. Water Street will be closed to through traffic from Walnut Street to State Street starting at 3 p.m. on Thursday, July 3, and will remain closed until noon on Saturday, July 5. This closure is due to Kelleher’s 4th of July Family Fun Fest.
The event is sponsored by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Peoria and Kelleher’s. Drivers are advised to be aware of this closure and exercise caution in the area. For through traffic, S.W. Washington Street should be used as an alternative route.
