The data shows that the seven released offenders living in the Peoria Heights zip code were men. The median age of the parolees was 39. The youngest parolee was a 27-year-old man convicted of a crime involving alcohol in 2016, and the oldest was a 43-year-old man convicted of a property crime in 2017.
The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Joshua Tockes. He was convicted of a property crime in 2015, when he was 35 years old. He is now 38.
Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
