City of East Peoria issued the following announcement on Nov. 25.
East Peoria City Hall will close at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 27, and remain closed Thursday, Nov. 28 and Friday, Nov. 29 for the Thanksgiving holiday. There will be no garbage and recycling collection on Thursday. Collection will be one day behind, starting Friday, Nov. 29 and ending Saturday, Nov. 30. Have a happy and safe Thanksgiving!
