Beverly Manor Elementary School Board of Education met Nov. 19.

PLEDGE TO THE FLAG 

The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was recited before the meeting.

ROLL CALL Price, Washburn, Garcia, Padilla, Rossman, Seidl, and

Corkron were present.

PUBLIC PARTICIPATION 

None.

CONSENT AGENDA ITEMS 

Price made a motion to approve the consent agenda items as presented:

A. Minutes

1. Regular School Board Meeting of September 17, 2019.

B. Reports

1. Monthly Bills as presented by the Superintendent.

2. Investments as presented.

3. Imprest Fund as presented.

4. Activity Fund as presented.

Garcia seconded the motion.

Roll Call Vote. Price, yea; Washburn, yea; Garcia, yea; Padilla, yea; Rossman, yea; Seidl, yea; and Corkron, yea.

All yea votes. No nay votes. The motion was declared carried.

ADMINISTRATIVE REPORT 

The Superintendent and Administrators presented reports to the Board of Education.

LEVY RESOLUTION

NEW BUSINESS

TAX LEVY 

Price made a motion to move the Board of Education approve resolution for the amount necessary to be levied for the year 2019.

Rossman seconded the motion.

Voice Vote. All yea votes. No nay votes. The motion was declared carried.

BOE POLICY

UPDATE Padilla made a motion to move the Board of Education approve the first reading of IASB recommended board policies as presented.

Garcia seconded the motion.

Voice Vote. All yea votes. No nay votes. The motion was declared carried.

PERSONNEL

EMPLOYMENT 

Padilla made a motion to move the Board of Education approve the consent agenda for personnel matters.

Action to approve:

A. Josh Godinez as Wrestling Coach.

B. Mike Baker as Assistant Wrestling Coach. 

Corkron seconded the motion.

Roll Call Vote. Price, yea; Washburn, yea; Garcia, yea; Padilla, yea; Rossman, yea; Seidl, yea; and Corkron, yea.

All yea votes. No nay votes. The motion was declared carried.

COMPENSATION

PACKAGE

Garcia made a motion to move the Board of Education approve reimbursement to Chase Wilson (Payroll Clerk) for the student loan debt in the amount of $527.90 per month, for the fiscal year 2020. Seidl seconded the motion.

Roll Call Vote. Price, yea; Washburn, yea; Garcia, yea; Padilla, yea; Rossman, yea; Seidl, yea; and Corkron, yea.

All yea votes. No nay votes. The motion was declared carried.

ALTERNATE 

Price made a motion to move the Board of Education approve reimbursing Latchkey Coordinator for alternate plan insurance penalty for an amount equal to or less than the employer contribution for the districts Tier I Insurance Plan.

Rossman seconded the motion.

Roll Call Vote. Price, yea; Washburn, yea; Garcia, yea; Padilla, yea; Rossman, yea; Seidl, yea; and Corkron, yea.

All yea votes. No nay votes. The motion was declared carried.

CLOSED SESSION MINUTES 

Padilla made a motion to move the Board of Education approve Closed Session Minutes for Dec 17, 2017 as presented.

Garcia seconded the motion.

Voice Vote. All yea votes. No nay votes. The motion was declared carried.
