Village of Dunlap Fire Protection District responded to 67 calls in 2018 - 17.3 percent less than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Village Of Dunlap included 42 fires - 12 structure fires, three vehicle fires and 27 other fires. The fire department also responded to one call for ruptures, explosions or overheating.

In all, the department saw $187,500 in fire loss - or about $4,464 per fire.

The department also received 24 false calls.
