City of Canton issued the following announcement on Feb. 16.
The City of Canton is requesting proposals to farm approximately 47 acres of tillable land and 7 acres of land suitable for hay on City-owned property located at 20th Avenue and Sebree Road in Canton. Proposals must be submitted on the official Request for Proposal form. (see link below) Proposals must be received in the City Clerk's office by 10:00 a.m. on 10:00am on March 29, 2021.
A meeting to view the property will be held at the farm site on Friday, March 19th at 10:00 am for all parties interested in leasing the ground.
