City of East Peoria issued the following announcement on Apr. 23.
Curbside recycling is coming back! Recycling starts Monday, May 3 and you'll need to put it in the blue-lid toter you already have, or in a toter with the lid painted blue. The recycling program is free and voluntary. The city is no longer selling toters. As we were doing previously, recycling will be picked up on alternating weeks.
