Village of Beach Park Parks and Rec Committee met June 1.

Roll call was taken and the meeting brought to order at 5:38 p.m.
Motion by Member Ottersen to approve the minutes from the March 12, 2020, Parks and Rec Committee meeting, seconded by Committee Chairman Gust. Ottersen and Gust voted aye; Member Wells abstained. Motion approved.
The Committee discussed plans for a Movie in the Park. Member Ottersen had an additional vendor that he would forward to staff to get additional pricing, screen size and setup options. Finalizing plans would occur at a future committee meeting.
Staff presented options for upgrades to the security systems including an entry gate and video system. Prices were obtained from two vendors for each system. After a discussion of the options, questions remained about the warranties available for the systems. Staff would provide a report on the available warranties to the committee at a future meeting.
There was no public comment or old business.
Member Wells motioned to adjourn the meeting. The motion was seconded by Member Ottersen. All members voted aye. The meeting was adjourned at 6:21 p.m.
