Priority One Project – Mower
Superintendent Sutherland advised the committee that he has the purchase of a mower as a cemetery priority two project, instead of a Priority One project in the budget. Due to the recent supply chain issue, and the length of time it takes to receive equipment, he requested the cemetery priority two project of the mower be moved forward and brought to council for approval of the project and the purchase of a mower. The cost of the mower is $12,106.60, payable to Bill’s Small Engine. He advised that the actual expense may not occur until fiscal year 23-24. The consensus of the committee was to bring this topic to the council meeting October 24, 2022 to seek approval.

The additional cost is for the added concrete work association with the toilet installation and the repair of the fascia replacement. The additional cost provided from the city engineer is $2934.00.
