City of Chillicothe Plan Commission met Feb. 7.

Here are the minutes provided by the commission:

1. Call to order: 7:00

2. Members:

Dennis Parkins +       Ryan Eaton +

Maria Geiger +          Andy Ruhland +

Jim Benisch +           Shaun Grant +

Scott Weistart +        Thu Truitt +

3. PUBLIC HEARING: The purpose of this meeting is to consider and make recommendations regarding re-zoning the following parcel to R-1 (Residential District) PIN 05-29-229-07 (316 Beech St).

4. Swearing in of interested parties

5. Public input

6. Discussion: Denise explained that this parcel is already a residence. Dennis Parkins made a motion to approve the rezoning from C-3 to R-1, Maria seconded, motion carried unanimously.

7. PUBLIC HEARING: The purpose of this meeting is to consider and make recommendations regarding Special Use (3) Beer Gardens for the following parcel (Commercial District)

PIN 05-21-354-001 (1046 N 2nd St)

8. Swearing in of interested parties

9. Public input

10. Discussion: Motion to approve from Jim, seconded by Scott, motion carried unanimously.

11. Regular meeting called to order: 7:07

12. Approval of November 1, 2022 minutes: Dennis motioned for approval, seconded by Shaun, motion carried unanimously.

13. Review of plat - Pleasant Hills Estates Subdivision: Denise presented the plans from Peoria County, no objections from the Plan Commission.

14. Other Business: There will be a hearing at the March meeting regarding 1217 Santa Fe. 15. Next meeting: March 7, 2023 at 7:00 PM at Chillicothe City Hall

16. Adjournment: 7:13 - Motion to adjourn by Dennis, seconded by Ryan. Motion to adjourn carried.
