Rep. Weaver's Senate Bill 2907 has successfully passed the House on May 21, 2024. The bill garnered support with a vote of 70 out of 118.

"My top four bipartisan legislative priorities are education, job growth, fiscal responsibility, and agriculture," Rep. Weaver stated. "Job training plays a key role in two of those priorities."

Despite facing last-minute opposition aimed at increasing transparency in job training programs, Rep. Weaver remained steadfast in advocating for the measure.

"I held my ground in advocating for this measure and was honored to pass the bill with 70 out of 118 votes," she said.

Rep. Weaver emphasized the importance of job training programs to her constituents: "Citizens routinely reach out to my office searching for programs that can help them get the training they need to provide for their family and live a prosperous life. This bill directly helps that and we got it passed!"
