Illinois House honors fallen servicemembers on Memorial Day

Today, the Illinois House of Representatives held their Memorial Day ceremony to honor the members of the U.S. Armed Forces who have lost their lives in service to the nation. This annual ceremony serves as a solemn reminder that freedom is not free.

"We must never forget the sacrifice of our nation’s heroes," stated one representative during the event.
