Farmers impacted by severe weather in Illinois may be eligible to receive help from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, according to Rep. Weaver.

In a recent statement, Rep. Weaver said, "Farmers who have experienced significant losses due to severe weather events can apply for assistance through various USDA programs."

The assistance aims to support farmers who have faced challenges such as flooding, droughts, and other extreme weather conditions that have adversely affected their crops and livestock.

Rep. Weaver emphasized the importance of these programs in helping farmers recover and sustain their operations. "It's crucial that our agricultural community has access to the resources they need during these difficult times," he stated.

Farmers interested in applying for assistance are encouraged to contact their local USDA office for more information on eligibility requirements and application procedures.
