W Lake Avenue to close near Scenic Drive for pavement repairs

Beginning at 7 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 23, W Lake Avenue will be closed from the 3200 Block of W Lake Avenue to NE Scenic Drive. The closure is necessary for pavement work and is expected to last one week, weather permitting.

Only local traffic will be permitted while the pavement work is occurring. Drivers are advised to utilize all marked detour routes and exercise caution in the area.

For northbound W Lake Avenue through traffic, the marked detour route is via W Farrelly Avenue from N Rockwood Drive.
