Molly Cottrell, a student at PCHS, is this week's featured intern. She sought this internship to gain leadership experience, insights into government operations, and learn about policy development while gaining professional experience.

Molly also aims to understand community needs better and appreciate how policy is shaped in Illinois.

At PCHS, Molly participates in girls' golf and basketball and leads the student section at her high school.

In addition to her current internship role, Molly will join the Office more consistently through PCHS's Work-Based Learning Program. Starting in January, she will work daily for several hours on various projects such as managing constituent cases, conducting policy research, and coordinating community outreach events.
