Rep. Weaver has announced a donation drive in collaboration with Pekin Community High School (PCHS) to support the school's Dragon's Closet. This initiative aims to provide students with essential items, including school supplies, snacks, and seasonal clothing.
The drive will take place from Monday, December 2nd to Friday, December 13th. Donations can be dropped off at Rep. Weaver's office in Pekin between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on business days during this period.
A list of suggested donation items includes personal hygiene products like deodorant and toothpaste, snacks such as individually packaged chips or crackers, easy-prep meals like canned soups and noodles, new or gently used seasonal clothes such as jackets and coats, and various school supplies.
