This week's Teacher Spotlight focuses on Dale Holzwarth, a German and Cultural Studies teacher at Pekin Community High School. A student shared insights into Mr. Holzwarth's influence on students, colleagues, and the community.
"Mr. Holzwarth invests his time to be active in the community at PCHS. He is actively interested in the lives of his students and strives to make connections with current and former students. He is well-liked within the student body due to his constant positive and uplifting attitude. I firmly believe that Mr. Holzwarth is a great nomination because of his attitude towards constant learning, development in cultural understanding, and an active and engaging approach to learning foreign languages."
The school expressed gratitude for the nomination and appreciation for Mr. Holzwarth's leadership at Pekin Community High School.
