Traeton Mcvey has joined the office of Representative Travis Weaver as an intern. He will be working in the Kewanee office every Wednesday and Friday. Mcvey expressed his motivation for pursuing this opportunity, stating: "What motivates me to pursue this opportunity is a strong desire to understand what goes on in our state government. While my previous experiences in a congressional campaign and Rep. Darin LaHood’s district office focused largely on federal-level concerns, I believe this role will provide a valuable perspective on the issues and priorities that impact our communities at the state level."

Mcvey aims to gain insights into constituent services and address the needs of Illinois’ 93rd District. He remarked, "I’m eager to learn more about constituent services and needs of Illinois’ 93rd District, as we need to move Illinois in the right direction. I’m incredibly excited about the opportunity to work for Rep. Travis Weaver and look forward to working for Illinois’ 93rd District."
