With the snowstorm concluding in the early evening and Public Works crews working overnight, the City reports that main arterial roads are now in good condition. Crews began treating neighborhood streets earlier this morning, focusing on clearing and treating residential routes throughout the day. The City's Snowfighters continue to operate on 12-hour shifts around the clock until further notice.
While road conditions have improved, caution is advised as some roads remain partially snow-covered and slick. Conditions are expected to improve further throughout the morning and day, particularly on neighborhood streets as crews progress through their routes.
Residents are reminded to allow extra time for their morning commute, exercise caution when turning into and out of neighborhoods, and maintain a safe distance from other vehicles on the road.
