According to the report, the district expelled or suspended 216 students during the year. That equates to 22.7 percent of the 950 students enrolled.
Of the 153 in-school suspensions, 107 were given to boys and 46 were given to girls.
The district reported that most in-school suspensions were given for unspecified reasons. The category includes 149 incidents. There were two incidents of tobacco. For 124 incidents, students were suspended for a day or less.
Of the 63 out-of-school suspensions, 51 were given to boys and 12 were given to girls, including 47 elementary or middle schoolers and 16 high schoolers.
The district reported that most out-of-school suspensions were given for unspecified reasons. The category includes 61 incidents. There were one incidents of drugs. For 22 incidents, students were suspended for 3-5 days.
