Canton City issued the following announcement on Aug. 7.
The Canton Fire and Police Commission is now accepting applications for candidates interesting in testing to create a hiring list for the Canton Fire Department.
Interested candidates can download an application below. Applications with supporting documents must be received in the Mayor's office by 4:30 pm on Friday, September 25. Testing will be held on Saturday, September 26.
A CPAT certification will not be required until such time as a candidate would be selected for testing and a job offer extended.
A study guide for the written test is available for purchase at www.publicsafetycompass.com.
