County Highway 13 in Woodford County remains closed as construction continues, according to an update issued on November 10, 2025. The bridge along the route is still shut down, with paving work expected to take place later in the week if weather conditions allow.
Motorists are advised that roadwork related to a windfarm east of Roanoke has been completed. The newly reconstructed windfarm roads now have a gravel surface. Drivers are urged to use extra caution and drive slowly due to loose gravel present throughout the project area.
The closure affects County Highway 13 from the south end of the Woodford County Highway Department to IL 116. This shutdown is projected to last for the entire 2025 construction season, depending on weather conditions. Residents and property owners will maintain access to their properties during this period. Officials recommend that drivers follow marked detours and plan for additional travel time.
